Q: I can login but my screen is completely blank?
A: Your user is not assigned to a role or the role is not assigned to any functions
Q: Why does the API MHS850MI, MMS850MI often fail after ENV copies?
A: Numbers series 16 & 17 are the ones that are used in MMS850 and MHS850 in the WHI staging table records: these numbers can get corrupted during an ENV copy IF the copy happens DURING live transactions… ex during the night… What tends to happen is that the CRS165 is not swapping over to the same number as is in MMS850 and or MHS850 so the number in MHS850 is higher than the last no in the CRS165 (since number series is copied first then the table…) this results in duplicated key when trying to process a transaction and trying to use the same message no as already exists…) this can easily be resolved by:
- Not copy while transacting …. If possible, or
- Just up the CRS165 last number used to what is in MMS850/MHS850 and it will start working.
Q: My Supplier is applying GS1 labels with AI: 02, 3102, 15 and 21 but 21 (Serial no is only a serial no for the box), IN PO receiving instead of configuring M3 to auto lot no use manual lot no and map the Use By date (AI 15 as the lot no).
A: Yes in theory this is possible by setting up a storage requirement method for the item that links lot BANO no to AI 15 instead of 10 (Default) or 21 (common override if it contains enough in)
Q: How can I activate cycle counting while picking?
A: Steps:
1. Tick MMS010/E Create phys inv (Tip: do this location or location group by location staggered over time to not get all items with the same cycle to be counted on the same day initially until things level out a bit)
2. Tick MWS010/1 Parameter 560 (Create physical inventory during picking)
3. Set up MMS002/G Ph invent cycle (CRS110 for table), (Tip: mass update based on ABC class and call the cycle by the no of days)
4. Set up CMS017/MMS309 to accommodate the business rules this is an example:
5. Pick an order that uses the ticked locations and dispatch policy and the item has not had a cycle count (physical inventory count) within the cycle count days settings (Ph invent cycle) for the item in MMS002/G
Note: No settings required in MobileAction to activate this since it is activated on so many levels in M3.
