Requirement
Business requires an inventory view to see Claims stock.
For claim on M3 – PPS390, we need the PO number, and if possible we need the non-lot managed items i.e., under 600 and 800 inventory to be split on MWS068 as per the PO number even if there is no lot number created.
Example as below for lot controlled inventory

Solution
Isolate stock in a Reject location so that the business can distinguish stock that needs to be returned to the Supplier
The setup in MMS010 for the location Status proposal is just that, it is a proposal of what the item should reflect when an item is placed in that location.
Unfortunately, a movement only changes the location of an item, it does not reclassify the status once it is moved.
The business will have to change the location of the Item using MMS175 or MMS177.
Then reclassify the item using MMS130.
Instead of a Movement and then reclassification, the business can do a Movement from MMS100 using Stock Transaction Type = 92. There is a flag in the dispatch policy which you can tick for the DO receipt to use the status proposal on the stock location.
You can also create the dispatch policy to automate when order entry is completed.
Setup
CRS200 - Req/Distr Order type
New Order Type 999 - Claims Internal Inventory Movement
MWS010 - Dispatch Policy
New Dispatch Policy M99
Setting
215 DO receipt - stock location status (Activated)
Process
Create Movement in MMS100
Example
Warehouse = 120
To Location = Reject location
Enter item & Click add
F3 to exit
Movement Status = 99/99
Check MWS068
NB DO receipt will use the status proposal on the stock location i.e. if stock in the location is status 2 then DO receipt will adapt status 2 but if stock in the location is status 3 then DO receipt will adapt status 3.
If no stock is in location, then stock will adapt status 3 (That is the proposed stats setup for the location).
