Process flows
This function is used when we want to move multiple items from location A to location B while scancounting each individual SKU. It is suitable for for example a fashion online retailer or similar.
We do support lot and container management in this function and this can be used to efficiently scan count move unique lots (ex one lot per bag of KG items) or serialised items where each lot is qty of 1)
Cumulative scanning/Scan Count rules:
Item code - manual input of quantity
GS1 barcode with AI 30 or 37 - takes precedence over the quantity stored in M3 if any.
Barcode - (alias no from MMS025) - quantity 0 MEANS manual input or >0 means the quantity populated (ex outer barcode quantity)
Will not allow to move more than what is on hand in the from location - this also works like a duplicate scan check for lots and serial inputs
Limitations:
We do not suggest a destination location since we move more than one item in one go.
We do not test stock for
- status 1/3
- expiry date
- wrong zone
NO auto reclassification based on days and zone etc that we do in the other moves directed more to F&B industry.
