Package masks has 2 functions in Mobile Action:

1. It determines what a package is if we use blind LPN's (random pre printed unique barcodes when we pick and pack to aviod entry errors by scanning a location, lot or item barcode by mistake) By setting up rules we can teach mobile action how these barcodes look like by what the first X characters are and how long the barcode is.

2. If we use container management we use the same table to validate the same thing - assuming the number series used for container barcodes are the same ones as for packages.

This function is then also loosely linked to the Print Blind Container/Package label as if we do this in Mobile Action using the numbering formatting rules in MMS050 - Packaging and DRS080 Package types the recommendation is to have these numbers lined up.

If we don't use containers in M3 or manual advanced packing using manually entered package numbers when picking we don't need to set up this table.

This means any package between
P000 and PZZZ are allowed

Note: Minimum length of a Package mask is 4 to make it somewhat unique.

If SSCC numbers are used as as containers and as outbound packages those unique numbers series should be set up here
